On Saturday nite Supertouch’s own ERIK FOSS managed to transform his otherwise morally upstanding FUSE GALLERY into a den of sin when the “Revelations” show opened its doors. Filling the space with visual meditations on the word of the lord were artists Phil Frost, Eric White, Dash Snow, The Butthole Surfers’ Gibby Haynes, J Penry, Travis Louie, Ron English, Brendan Donnelly, Cheryl Dunn, Neck Face, Michael Hussar, Spenser Sweeney, Andrew Jeffrey Wright, and Chet Zar, to name a few. Working in an array of media from photography to neon signage, the artists offered up an array of sanctified and sacrilegious imagery augmented by a group bible reading and a communion alter (staffed by naughty nuns) in lieu of wine and cheese.
