D*Face takes center stage flanked by Wordtomother, Eine, and monsieur Blek Le Rat’s “David”…
Best known for its fjords and fisheries, one doesn’t usually hear too much about the burgeoning street art scene in Norway, but that’s exactly where some of the genre’s foremost practitioners have converged this month to participate in the annual NUART festival. Kicking off last Thursday, September 6th (through November 4th), at the ROGALAND KUNSTMUSEUM in Stavanger, the international exhibition attracts an impressive array of artists and revelers to gawk at the fresh pieces created streetside and on the white walls of the city’s most hallowed institution. This year’s lineup includes Arofish (UK), Blek le Rat (FR), D*Face (UK), Nick Walker (UK), M-City (Poland), Logan Hicks (USA), Dolk (N), Sixten (SWE), Rene Gagnon (USA), Charles Krafft (USA), Herakut (DE), Eine (UK), Kngee (JP), Wordtomother (UK), Pøbel (N), Mir (N), The Dotmasters (C6), Karolina Sobecka (USA), Slinkachu (UK), and Tristan Manco (UK).
