LA///HOLLYWOOD GETS TWISTED…

San Francisco native BARRY McGEE (aka: EL TWISTO) took the LA art world by storm when his incredible “Advanced Mature Work” show opened at REDCAT GALLERY in Downtown LA last Friday. Expanding the multimedia themes of his past few shows (with more than a little help from artistic accomplices AMAZE, KEVIN ANCELL, and CRAIG STECYK), Barry incorporated an amazing array of materials including upturned cars, video, wood & foamcore sculptures and miscellaneous debris, to create a living art environment of visual stimuli that had to be seen to be believed. Luckily, our man on the scene, TIM BISKUP, (with some help from the almighty Hustler of Culture herself) was on hand to snap some flix. HAVE A LOOK:
