The attack of Dave Choe’s little green men…

Our friends at GIANT ROBOT celebrated their 50th issue last weekend with a special biennale art exhibit curated by GR honcho ERIC NAKAMURA at LA’s JAPANESE AMERICAN NATIONAL MUSEUM (conveniently located next door to MoCA’s ginormous Takashi Murakami exhibit). Fans turned out in droves to catch sight of original works by DAVID CHOE, SEONNA HONG, SOUTHER SALAZAR, GARY BASEMAN, APAK, SASHIE MASAKATSU, SAELEE OH, ADRIAN TOMINE, EISHI TAKAOKA, and PRYOR PRACZUKOWSKI, and the rare vision of Mr Nakamura wearing a suit and tie. Luckily, our man DARREN “DR” ROMANELLI was on hand, tie in place, to snap the action. HAVE A LOOK:
