Skwak lets out nary a squeek...

Parisian wildcard painter SKWAK pushed the fun factor through the roof when his appropriately named "Born to be a Maniac" opened at Paris' ADDICT GALERIE the other nite. For those not familiar with the Technicolor stylings of the young Frenchman, Skwak renders meticulously detailed, anatomically correct cartoon character landscapes that look like Aboriginal paintings filtered through the lens of Raw Magazine. Love em or hate em, they're guaranteed to bring a smile, a bonified rarity in the art world these days. HAVE A LOOK:
