RON ENGLISH’s optically-challenging rendition of BARACK OBAMA as his self-professed political hero ABRAHAM LINCOLN has appeared across walls in the major urban centers of this great nation throughout the year’s campaign, and now Mr. English is offering six hand-painted fine art renditions of the image to benefit Obama’s campaign as it makes its final push towards election day. Available in six individual colorways, the 24″ x 36″ canvases are all handpainted to resemble screenprinted multiples and are available for $10K each via our friends at the JONATHAN LEVINE GALLERY. The sale of these works will enable English to spread fund the production and placement of more Abraham Obama wheatpaste posters throughout the city. Aside from a tax write-off, what could be better when buying art than knowing the sale price will be funding political vandalism throughout our nation’s urban metropoli?
